“Hounded” Stills & “Broken” News

ITV has released more episode stills for episode two of series three of Law & Order: UK 3×02 Hounded The episode will air on September 16. Now in other Law & Order related news, it appears that at least a small group of people are trying their best to prevent ITV from broadcasting episode 3×01 Broken. You can read all about it on Bamber News over at livejournal.com Thanks to Mary for pointing me in the direction.

New Layout

After three months it really was time, once again, for a new layout. ITV has just announced a premiere date for the third series of Law & Order: UK (just three weeks from now whoohoo) and I wanted the site to have the chance at a fresh start. The header graphic was designed by my friend Masha. Thanks so much to her for being so kind. What I like about this layout are the bright colors. I wish I had newer photo shoot pictures to use but unfortunately there are none. I like the new layout and I hope you do to.

Law & Order UK Series 3 Info

ITV has just announced that it will be broadcasting the third series of Law & Order: UK starting September 9th, 2010 – so just three weeks from now. Stills for episode 3×01 “Broken” have already been released (none of them featuring Freema though). ITV has also released a press pack with episode synopsis for the first seven episodes. The episode titles are as followed: Broken, Hounded, Defence, Confession, Survivor, Masquerade and Anonymous.

The press pack also features interviews with Bradley Walsh, Jamie Bamber, Ben Daniels and Freema. It’s a nice interview – I posed a few excerpts below – if you want to read the whole thing you can download the ITV press pack [HERE].

What have you been doing since finishing filming?
“I should probably say I have been doing a gruelling one hander at an amazing venue. But in all honesty, my sister had a baby girl just before we finished making Law & Order:UK and I didn’t get to see much of her at all. So since we finished, I have been spending so much time doing my Aunty duties and I adore it!”

“I have been on holiday with my family, spending quality time with my lovely boyfriend and doing lots of horse riding! I am enjoying having a break, and just trying to achieve that work/life balance! We start filming again in October, so come September, I will need to start retraining my body and mind as both will need a bit of a work out!”

What’s been your favourite episode?
“If I was being selfish I would have to say ‘Masquerade’ as you learn more about Alesha. If I was being unbiased, then I would say ‘Defence’ because I loved the mental sparring between James Steel and Rupert Graves’ character. It was utterly engaging to watch the two of them bounce off each other.”

Looks like there will be great story lines coming up for Alesha this year. From the information that has been released, however, I think it’s safe to assume that ITV will only be airing seven of the thirteen episodes in a row. If last year is anything to go by the others will be shown in early January. In the interview Freema also revealed that new episodes start shooting in October so there will definitely be more!

“My Amazing Dad”

I have added the last video of Freema appearing on the CBeebies Bedtime Hour program to the video archive. In episode five Freema reads “My Amazing Dad” by Ross Collins. This is probably my favorite out of all the five stories Freema has read. I just really like how she does all the different voices and acts out all the different animals.

Remember that you can also watch videos of David Tennant, John Barrowman and John Simm reading stories.

Law & Order: UK Series 3 Images

After months and months of no news about the new series of Law & Order UK I can finally present you with tons of new promotional images for series three. The images were once again donated to the site by a lovely individual – thanks so much to him! I am really excited the character promos and the stills as well look really great. I can’t wait for the new episodes. ITV has not released any definite air dates yet but there seems to be a consensus that new episodes will be on our screens in autumn.

x21 Episode Stills

I am currently reorganizing the gallery (including the thumbnail size) that is why some things might look a bit messed up.

“Priscilla Queen Of The Desert”

A couple of days ago Freema attended an event to celebrate the addition of Ben Richards to the cast of the “Priscilla Queen Of The Desert” musical at the West End. Freema looked wonderful as ever in a blue dress. I have added 14 images to the event to the gallery. The musical’s official website www.priscillathemusical.com features a video in which Freema makes a small appearance expressing her delight with the show – unfortunately the audio quality is really bad so it is hard to understand what she is actually saying.

2010 BAFTA Awards

A couple of days ago Freema attended the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards (BAFTA). She presented the award for best situation comedy. Freema looked absolutely stunning. I have added red carpet pictures as well as caps of Freema presenting and a video which you can download right here or watch on youtube.

EDIT: Thanks to Dbiloo I have added 8 more pictures.

“Charlie Cook’s Favorite Book”

I have added yet another video of Freema appearing on the CBeebies Bedtime Hour program to the video archive. In episode four Freema reads “Charlie Cook’s Favorite Book” by Julia Donaldson. It is another wonderful story. Still not my favorite one but a great one nonetheless. Remember that you can also watch videos of David Tennant, John Barrowman and John Simm reading stories.

Next On Law & Order

EPISODE 1: BROKEN
Written By: Emilia Di Girolamo
Thursday September 9th

The terrifying CCTV image of a toddler being led to his death haunts this episode of Law & Order UK which deals with the difficult and morally complex issue of children who kill. As a society, we are very unforgiving of child killers but if the killers themselves are only children, it begs the question - who really is responsible for the crime? With two children in the frame, each blaming the other, can forensic evidence prove who is guilty of strangling little Conor to death? In an emotionally gut wrenching episode, George defies his superiors and instead takes instruction from the victim's mother who has a surprising point of view on the crime. Can the justice system, and ultimately the government, afford to be lenient?
